The selection of materials for Fused Filament Fabrication (FFF) was driven by the demand in the market, aiming to cater to a variety of applications. Two well-known materials from the Metal Injection Molding (MIM) sector, namely 316L and 17-4PH, have been adapted for FFF.
Additionally, three special materials—copper, high-temperature nickel alloy, and Ti6Al4V—have been included, each with their specific areas of application.

LOXIOL 316L

The parts exhibit high corrosion resistance, toughness, ductility, as well as high acid resistance. This combination is ideal for a wide range of applications in aerospace, automotive, energy, jewelry, medical, shipbuilding and many other industries. The material is characterized by very good processing in downstream processes, e.g. welding.
